Traveling Notes is expanding its activities beyond the organization of our yearly festivals with which we started in 2007.  We are constantly looking for new and creative ways to fulfil our ultimate goal of forming fine young musicians with a social conscience and an appreciation for cultural differences. 

We have been involved in the donation of musical instruments, music stands and sheet music to institutions that teach underprivilged children in the Dominican Republic.

We have worked with the US Embassy in Santo Domingo and the local Ministry of Culture to obtain the necessary funding to organize chamber music workshops for the benefit of the musical youth in the Dominican Republic and lead by professional musicians from the US. 

We have also completed the production of a compact disc with young musicians from the countries with which we have worked thus far, playing a repertoire that reflects the cultures of these countries and recorded in the United States and in the Dominican Republic.

We are always open to new ideas for projects and partnerships and look forward to hearing from you if you have any thoughts on the subject.
